I love these socks. They’re very comfortable and they don’t slip off my heal the way some others do. I already had several pairs as a ‘test’ to see how I liked them. It would be nice if they came in white.
These socks are what I was looking for. Amazing comfort and now my new favorite work boot sock. Will order again and again.
Not much to say other than it’s my favorite Beenie of all time. Wool? Nice! Alpaca? AMAZING!
They are a good sock, nothing special, overpriced. They do not cure cancer or help me win the lottery, they are socks.
Dry and comfortable. Wore them in my steel toe work boots and they were great.
I am literally on my feet for 12+ hours a day and these socks are no joke. No sweat and no stink. I will be ordering more.
My feet are 10.25-10.5 in size and the mediums are close to maxxed out. I did not want 'too much' sock though as these are work socks. They are on the tall side for crew socks, but that is not a complaint. I put them to a rigorous, one I normally abstain from, test by wearing a pair every day for a 5 day work week in lace-up Justin boots. Sure. They smelled like my feet, but they were not foul as I have had with other socks from a single day.
The couple of pair I have rotated at work have held up well to multiple inside-out washings. They seem to be 'shedding' some, but no pilling as of this review.
They are awesome for work so far. Weirdly, they make my feet feel 'sweaty' when I put them on. Maybe it is just my odd senses. The summer has not quite arrived in the south and I am curious how they will do.
The picture is of a brand new pair. Yes. They are pricey. I am a bit of a frugal guy and was quite hesitant at first, but talked myself into one of their promotions and I am quite happy I did.
I am not disappointed, ordered more of them, and a mixture of the others, as well.
I also had an initial issue with my first order being 'lost in the mail'. I believe Brian caught it before I did, contacted me via email, and kept tabs to a resolution of my choice.

I’ve tried a few different Alpac and smart wool socks and none have been as good as the Hollow Ankle soak in hot weather. It’s still early in the year so we will see how well they are doing in August. Comfy too.
My husband and I each took the crew socks and no show socks to Scotland for touring & hiking. They kept our feet at the perfect temperature whether it was 65 or 40 degrees. The bonus was that we could hand wash them at night and they were dry by the morning. Of course, we took 3 pairs each just in case. I can highly recommend them.
So far I'm very pleased wearing them for work now if I continue to like them I will order more and hunting socks .
My feet get sweaty, no matter what shoes I wear. That leads to an odor. Since I bought these socks, my feet do not stink when I take my shoes off. This has lead to a better relationship with my wife. They have put the spark back into our romance and saved our marriage!!
I love my Hollow Socks and will definitely be purchasing them again. For those of you that haven’t had the pleasure; you are missing out on a wonderful product. Buy these and do it soon so you can enjoy as I do.
These socks are amazing, but the reason they don't get a 5/5 for me is that I believe the ankle socks and boot socks are far better because of the wool content and fit. The crew socks have less wool than the ankle socks, which to me doesn't make sense, and they are way tighter on my calves than the boot socks. They're still my go to for fall and early spring weather due to being the perfect balance of warm, but not sweltering. I'm not sure why they use less wool in these than the others, but I'm confident they'd be a 5/5 if they changed the blend.
My husband & I love our new socks, we got the ankle & no show. The ankle are just about an 1.5” above the ankle which is perfect for warmer weather. The no show are actually great because they are a little higher than some other brands which we like. Sometimes it can disappear in your shoe but these stay up & are a lighter thickness than our winter boot or ski socks. Those winter ones are so thick they are like pillows for your feet. My mom is from Peru so I know how amazing Alpaca is! We love all of our socks thank you!!😊💚👍🏼
